Flights: Video goes viral after passenger helps child draw on tray tablets | Travel News | Travel

Passengers often behave badly on a flight when travelling as they are seemingly oblivious to the correct etiquette. Their rude actions are often caught on camera with many shocked over how people act in public. One person caught their fellow passenger doing something disrespectful when flying. Travelling with their child, they failed to stop them from using the tray tables as their drawing table.

In the video, the person filming captured a tray table in the upright position with coloured crayon scribbles all over the back of it.

The camera then panned across to see another tray table covered in blue colours.

In the seat nearest the window, a passenger could be seen holding their child while travelling.

The child appeared to be scrubbing on the seat in front with a pencil, making more marks.

Instead of stopping them, the parent grabbed the child’s hand and directed them to draw even more on the table.

Most flights offer children paper and pens and other games to entertain them during flights.

Why the parent allowed the child to draw on the tray tables instead of on some paper isn’t initially clear.

The video has been watched on Instagram more than 100,000 times in the past few hours on the popular Instagram account Passenger Shaming.

The caption said: “Not only are tray tables for changing s****y diapers on, now you can help your kids draw all over them!

“It’s only a $100M aircraft. NBD. #parentingfail – we’re not shaming a child.”

Instagram users were shocked at how the parent failed to stop the child.

One wrote: “OMG who are these people!”

Another remarked: “On what planet is this ok?! I’m a mom of 3 boys […] But I would never ever let my child grow up thinking it is acceptable to do anything like this.”

One person felt people should be able to be charged for any damage to their seat.

“It’s time to start charging for incidentals for your airline seat, the way you are charged for incidentals at your hotel,” they wrote.

“For example if you destroy a room your credit card gets charged extra for it.”
