Strictly Come Dancing 2018 professionals Katya and Neil Jones, who married in 2013, seemed to have put the encounter behind them as they cosied up on the red carpet, beaming for the cameras.
The 29-year-old stunned in a figure-hugging black and silver bardot dress, which was adorned in patterns.
Her 35-year-old spouse sported a black suit with matching shoes and a tie.
Putting on a defiant display, he placed his arm around his wife of five years as the pair flashed their wedding rings.
A source told Express.co.uk that the duo avoided speaking to press as well as an awkward run-in on the red carpet with Seann Walsh, 32.
The comedian was reportedly seen arriving minutes after the duo, also in a black suit, despite having just appeared on Strictly spin-off It Takes Two with the Russian beauty just minutes before.
The comedian seemed in high spirits as he was seen captured laughing while having his pictures taken.
Earlier this month, Seann and Katya were pictured kissing during a night out together, despite the pair having partners at the time.
The TV star was in a relationship with Rebecca Humphries, but she split up with him shortly afterwards.
Addressing the kiss days later, Katya said her and husband Neil were “fine”.
Last weekend, the dancing duo were the latest couple to be voted off of the show.
Their dancing efforts of the Viennese Waltz failed to impress the public as they ended up in the bottom two.
After their dance-off against Graeme Swann and Oti Mabuse, the four judges opted to save the latter.
Meanwhile, elsewhere at the event, Katya and Neil’s Strictly co-stars made an appearance on the red carpet.
Katie Piper risked a nip slip in an eye-catching number which struggled to contain her assets.
She reunited with her ex dance-partner Gorka Marquez and his girlfriend Gemma Atkinson.
The ceremony was hosted by ex-Countdown host Carol Vorderman, 57.
Speaking prior to the event, Carol said: “Pride of Britain is a very important part of my life.
“I’m thrilled that it’s become a staple part of British culture. I never fail to be humbled by those who have often turned a tragedy into something pretty magnificent.”
The Daily Mirror Pride of Britain Awards, in partnership with TSB, will be broadcast on ITV on November 6 at 8pm.
